PERFECT YOUR GLOW
SPRAY TAN PREP
24hrs before;
Drink plenty of water in the 2 days leading up to ensure skin is hydrated (the PT in me says minimim of 2-3L or more daily ladies :P)
Wax or shave AND exfoliate the morning of or night before to allow time for pores to close focus on knees and elbows when exfoliating as well as hands and feet
Do not use skin products including soap with high PH levels (avoid sulphates), this will disrupt the tan reaction on the skin
To the appointment;
Shower prior and do NOT apply makeup, deodorant, perfume, moisturiser or any other substance to the skin
Bring a change of loose clothes and thongs for after your tan - best after-tan clothing is loose t-shirts or robes and baggy pants rolled over themselves avoid spaghetti straps as these rub and create marks
If it is raining the more covered the better e.g big oversizes tracksuits with minimally exposed skin and an umbrella to get to and from your car
During the appointment;
Girls it is up to you how little or how much clothing you wear - rest assured I’ve seen it all and will endeavor to make you feel as comfortable as possible NOTE: anything you wear will be stained and give you a tan line.
Men - most wear their jocks for a glow.
Disposable female g-strings & hair nets are supplied (sticky feet available on request)
I will have barrier creams available to you to apply to dry areas in the studio under instruction.
Aftercare;
Do not wash your tan for the time discussed during your tan (usually a min 2 hours and a max of 5) the express tan is 20mins -2 hrs
Do not come into contact with water until your first rinsing shower
Avoid touching your skin while the tan develops, this will transfer the tan to your palms and stain, is tough to remove
Do not use soap in your first shower aside from feminine areas if you wish and ONLY pat dry * Avoid tight clothing, heavy sweating and swimming in the first 24 hours
Moisturise morning & night for longevity of the tan
After 5 days gently exfoliate your skin to remove the tan evenly
Long exposure to water & sweating will fade your tan

FAQ’S
Can I train the day after my tan?
I always recommend to wear loose fitting clothing and more of a strength-based workout as opposed to HIIT unless absolutely necessary
Can I swim after my tan?
Swimming does fade the tan quicker however salt water provides an even and slow removal of the tan from your skin, chlorine will tend to make it patchy so if you are holidaying take some top-up tan with you and begin gentle exfoliation on the days you are exposed to chlorine
I bumped my tan what now?
Stress less, most of the time it’s the bronzer on the skin that rinses off in the shower anyway that you’re concerned about. The tan itself is actually clear and mixes with the amino acids on the skin to develop into the beautiful glow you see within the 24-48 hour mark. You can use a tanning mitt to carefully pat down any areas you have bumped or smudged.
